Service Description

**This is free for members that have signed up for our Fall term courses** Each month we will go through some common issues that we face when it comes to raising, education, and interacting with children. We will play out certain scenarios and how to handle them. We will also try to answer any questions you may have about your child’s development; the questions will be open to the educator as well as any parents/caregivers that might have gone through similar situations and feel comfortable enough to share them. **September Workshop: School readiness- what children need to know. Independence, asking for help, body awareness, speaking up, bullies and friends, social interactions, and self regulation. **October Workshop: Behavioural challenges- aggression, throwing, hitting, self regulation (how to manage emotions and de-escalating conflict, transitions, and routines) **November Workshop: How to teach manners, gratitude, empathy- saying please, thank you, sorry without force **December Workshop: Encourage problem solving skills and independence (how to deal with boredom, struggles, taking risks)
