STEAM+ engineering Camp 1 (July 10 - 14)

Welcome to our exciting STEAM plus engineering camp for young innovators! In this camp students will explore the basics of design, science concepts, learn to spot real world applications, and problem solving strategies. Students will set up experiments, learn about data collection, and become science communicators. This camp is aimed at older students ages 9-11 who are excited about science, math, and technology. Here is the big ideas of this camp  Structures/Bridges  Material Science  Electronics  Coding/Algorithms  Transportation (motors, engines, buoyancy, flight)  Motion/Energy  Hydraulics/Pneumatics (fluids) Our instructors will guide your child through a range of engineering projects, including designing and building new energy models and creating simple machines and robots. We'll illustrate the background with hands-on activities, then provide your child with models that have been prepared in advance, allowing them to focus on building and experimenting with the models. At the end of the camp, your child will leave with a newfound passion for engineering, new skills and knowledge, and a sense of accomplishment from the projects they've created. Register today and give your child a chance to explore the exciting world of engineering! Refund Policy Withdrawing or canceling your registration can be done up to 1 week prior to the start date. A refund will be processed for less a $75.00 administration fee. No refunds will be processed after this time. Non-attendance does not constitute notice of withdrawal.
