Service Description

Messy Sensory Play with Miss. A – For ages 2-4. It includes 12 sessions for 1 child and 1 Adult. In this program we create a "YES" environment for kids to discover new textures, create arts & crafts, get messy and have lots of fun! Usually, the class will have a specific topic for children to learn about or to improve their skills. Each class will include a story, a craft, and a sensory/messy activity. Below is a breakdown of what skills/topic this fall term will cover: Fall- Fall flurries Five senses- Sense of discovery Alphabet- ABC what can you be Apples- Apple picking Shapes- Shape it up Pumpkins-pick of the patch World elements- World adventures Halloween- Monster mash Numbers- Wonder numbers Farm-'Hay' fever Colours- Colour me autumn Harvest (scarecrows + corn)- Silly as a scarecrow Overall, messy sensory play provides children with an engaging way to learn and explore the world around them, and it gives them the freedom to be curious and imaginative. It also helps develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. It is important for children to have opportunities to engage in sensory activities to foster their growth and development.
